Ivan Carter Boklep

Ivan Boklep Born May 13, 1941, in Belview, MN, passed away peacefully at his home in Albertville, MN, on April 3, 2025, at the age of 83. He was baptized and confirmed at Rockdell Lutheran Church and graduated from Belview High School in 1959. Ivan enjoyed his time farming in Belview, serving his country in the Army, and working for Yellow Freight Trucking, retiring after nearly 30 years of service. He was a proud Teamster and a member of The American Legion.

Ivan is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Karen Boklep (Reisdorf), and their four daughters: Jeanne Soberg, Jennifer Stokke, Janelle Boklep, and Jessica Boklep. He also leaves behind five grandchildren and one great-grandson, as well as his brother, Kay (Sandy) Boklep.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Hazel Boklep; his sisters, Diane Haag and Donna Johnson; and his brothers, Jerry, Bill and Galen Boklep.

Ivan cherished spending time with his family and his dog, Sophie. He enjoyed reading and watching football. He will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew him.

An Honor Guard Salute will be held at Redwood Falls VA Cemetery, in Redwood Falls, MN early summer 2025.
