Ivan Manuel Duran, 26, passed away June 2, 2023, in Southaven, MS. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 07, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven (626 Star Landing Road East, Southaven, MS, 28672). A funeral mass celebrating his life will be held on Thursday, June 08, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church (785 Church Road, Southaven, MS 38671). Interment will be at Autumn Woods Memorial Park (6240 Davidson Road, Olive Branch, MS 38654). Father David will be officiating. Coleman Funeral Home of Southaven is in charge of arrangements.
Ivan was born September 13, 1996, in Memphis, TN. He was described as a very family oriented person who particularly loved to hang out with his uncles. When Ivan wasn't with his family, you would catch him riding his motorcycle on a pretty day, as it was his prized possession. Ivan always was very respectful and always was seen with a huge smile on his face. Even though him and his sister would argue, they were each other's favorite person. He was an avid animal lover and adored his dogs. Ivan left a beautiful mark on this world and will be missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
Ivan Manuel Duran is survived by his parents, Ivan J. Duran and Lilia Amaro of Horn Lake, MS: his sister, Erika Duran of Horn Lake; grandfather, Felix Duran of Mexico; grandmother, Angelina Villegas of San Jose, CA; his three aunts, Maria Garcia and Julia Duran both of Horn Lake; and Noemi Duran of San Jose; three uncles, Felix J. Duran of San Jose; Jose Vergara, Sr. of Memphis, TN; and Juan Garcia Sr. of Horn Lake; and 8 cousins, Julia Vergara, Jazmin Vergara, and Jose Vergara of Memphis, TN; Juan Garcia and Joshua Garcia of Horn Lake; and Lain Gonzales, Nathan N. Duran, and Tito Duran of San Jose.
