Ivan Tuttle

Tuttle, Ivan - of Burton, age 68, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025, at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital. Funeral services will be held at 1PM Thursday, November 20, 2025, at South Baptist Church - 4091 Van Slyke Rd, Flint, MI. Pastor Scott Snyder to officiate, burial to follow in Flint Memorial Park. The family will receive visitors on Thursday at Church from 11AM until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made to South Baptist Church.
Ivan was born July 23, 1957, in Flint, Michigan to the late Ivan and Jane (Crum) Tuttle. Ivan graduated from Davison High School in the class of 1975, after which he embarked on a rewarding 46-year career at Huntington Bank, dedicating himself to internal support in the banking industry. On August 23, 1980, Ivan married the love of his life, Melissa Marland. Together, they created a beautiful family. Ivan found profound joy in family gatherings and cherished moments spent with his loved ones, always striving to be the "yes" man to help anyone in need. A proud member of South Baptist Church, Ivan passionately praised the Lord and volunteered his time to support the church community. His love for singing was infectious, and he often lifted the spirits of those around him with his joyful melodies. Whether leading praise or lending a helping hand, Ivan's warmth and generosity of spirit left a lasting impact on all. In his leisure time, Ivan loved to unwind with episodes of NCIS, but nothing brought him more happiness than simply being surrounded by family and friends. His legacy of kindness, humility, and strength will continue to inspire those who were touched by his life. Ivan lived a life filled with love, devotion, and unwavering faith, and he will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Surviving are: Loving wife, Melissa Tuttle: Sons: John (Paula) Tuttle and Alexander Tuttle; Grandsons: Jacob Tuttle, Jaden Tuttle, Bruce Tuttle and Barry Tuttle; Sisters: Louise Bagby and Cheryl (Gene) Linn; Many nieces and nephews. He was blessed with several good friends and his Church family. He is preceded in passing by his parents, Ivan and Jane Tuttle; Siblings: Velma Tuttle, Wayne Tuttle, Ward Tuttle, Carolyn Randall, Sharon Tuttle, Edwin Tuttle and Norm Tuttle.
