Ivory "Faye" Adkins, age 85, passed away peacefully into the arms of her Lord on Friday, September 26, 2025. Born November 16, 1939, in Anderson County, Tennessee, she was the daughter of the late Lee and Grace Adkins. Faye was a devoted member of Red Hill Baptist Church, where she found happiness in singing.

Faye was a beloved sister, aunt, and friend. She cherished time spent with her family and never missed anyone's birthday, always making loved ones feel special. She has always loved holding babies and had a talent for calming infants and toddlers. Faye was known for her quick wit, strong opinions, and her willingness to share her thoughts openly. She found enjoyment in working on word search puzzles and found comfort in reading her Bible throughout her life.

In addition to her parents, Faye was preceded in death by her brother, Rex Adkins, and her sisters, Ila Robbins, Margaret Bernice Caldwell and Hazel Stokes. She is survived by her brother, Eugene Adkins, and his wife, Linda, of Knoxville, as well as several nieces and nephews who will continue to cherish her memory.

The family expresses their sincere appreciation to the staff at West Hills Health and Rehab for the dedicated care provided to Faye.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 6:00 PM on Tuesday, September 30, 2025, at Holley Gamble Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow in the chapel, officiated by Rev. Chris Wallace. The graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at Red Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Holley Gamble Funeral Home in Clinton is handling all arrangements.
