Ivy Kenneth “Kenny” Oliver, age 74, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at his residence surrounded by his loving family and under the care of Gentiva Hospice. The lifelong resident of Collins was born on April 16, 1949, to Ivey and Dorothy Beasley Oliver. He was the Owner of Oliver and Sons Drywall and was a farmer. Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching the Atlanta Braves. He is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Hugh, Calvin, Wendell and Wallace Oliver and Marlene Sanders,
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Brenda Hutcheson Oliver of Collins; his children, James Quentin (Kelly) Oliver of Collins, Marcie Oliver Morgan (Brian) of Cobbtown, and Kenneth Shaun Oliver (Kelly) of Collins; sisters, Patsy (Ed) Driggers of Collins and Linda Hodges of TN; grandchildren, Alanna Martin (Luke), Logan Oliver (Nick), Trent Morgan (Brenda), Taylor Oliver Hinojosa (Jonathon), Paige Oliver (Devon), and Kalie Oliver (Blake); 11 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews
Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2:00pm on Sunday, February 11, 2024 at Little Flock Church Cemetery with Mr. Lonnie Hutcheson officiating.
Memorials may be given to Gentiva Hospice, 112 Hill Pond Lane, Statesboro, GA 30458
