JB Hendrix, age 88 of Camden, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Mr. Hendrix was born on October 31, 1934 in Holladay to the late John Irvin Hendrix and Bivian Hearington Hendrix. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Laverne Dodd Hendrix, brother Max Hendrix and grandson Paul Douglas Trapeni III. Mr. Hendrix was a retired mechanic with the State of Tennessee Transportation and a U.S. Army Veteran. He was also a member of New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church in Holladay, TN.

Daughter: Vickie (Dr. Paul) Trapeni Jr. of Franklin, TN
Son: Randal Hendrix of Thompson Station, TN
Sister: Dr. Karen Rhea of Franklin, TN
Grandchildren: Caroline Trapeni Mitchell, Morgan Hendrix, Carter Trapeni
Great Grandchildren: Elle Douglas Mitchell, Millie Hendrix Mitchell
Visitation with the family will be on Friday, October 20, 2023 from 5:00-8:00 pm and again on Saturday, October 21, 2023 from 11:00-1:00 pm.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, October 21, 2023 at 1 pm at the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Allen Maness officiating. Burial will follow in Benton Memory Gardens.
