I've have had the privilege of knowing the Colonel for many years. He was a true professional and role model for young Troopers who were just beginning their journey with L.S.P. My condolences and prayers to the Family. Rest In Peace Sir. You will be sadly missed and remembered by so many!!

A Southern Gentleman in every sense of the word. He provided wisdom and guidance with such ease. He was so helpful and eager to help anytime he was needed. Irreplaceable. RIP my friend. Condolences to his large family who got to enjoy his great humor and love. He loved his wonderful wife Lillie more than words can communicate and made sure everyone knew it!

Eternal rest grant unto Colonel J.C. Willie, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May his soul, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of GOD, rest in peace . . . Lord Jesus, I pray that YOU grant the Willie family the fortitude to endure the pain caused by such a monumental loss. Let them feel YOUR loving comfort, and grant them peace . . . .

Miss Lillie and Family, I am so saddened to hear of your loss. Just last week I was talking with other LSP retirees about getting together for one of our lunches... and everyone of the retirees asked about Colonel JC. The Col. was so Loved and Respected and we ALL looked forward to seeing him again. Every LSP Trooper I have spoken with since his passing has had a cherished memory of JC's help and camaraderie. Love to You Miss Lillie... You and the girls are in my thoughts and Prayers
