J. Janelle Anderson Church ObituaryJOYCE JANELLE ANDERSON CHURCH, 83 of Forest Hill, MD, passed away peacefully in her home on Friday, September 27, 2024. She was the beloved wife of Paul E. Church. Born on January 17, 1941 in Norrisville, MD, she was a daughter of the late Robert Nelson Dunnick and Allison Ora (Crouse) Dunnick. Retiring in 2001 with 23 years of dedicated service, Janelle had driven a bus for Harford County Public Schools, she also drove students down and back from Baltimore so they could attend the Maryland School for the Blind and the Deaf. Her late daughter, Sylvia would ride along as her aide to care for the children. Janelle also would work long hours and weekends driving the sports teams and on student fieldtrips. She was known to care very much for each and every child.
Janelle loved everyone with a joyful spirit, never met a stranger, and was known to help anyone in need. She loved her Lord and strived to live her life reflecting her faith. She had attended Carsins Run Baptist Church and just adored flowers. She lived to love and care for her family. Her kind heart and beauty will be missed.

Her first husband, Amos Anderson in April 1989, her daughter, Sylvia Ann Thomas, her son, Paul Eugene Anderson and step grandchild, Evan Church.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 4, 2024 beginning at 11 a.m. in New Bridge Cemetery, 37 Wyatt Lane, Colora. MD. Pastor Mark Rudd of Trinity Free Will Baptist Church will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons: Paul, Matthew, Marc and Brady Anderson.
