J. Marnell Obituary
He was born on August 16, 1946, in Wheeling, WV, the son of the late John Anthony and Mary Agnes Marnell (McGinley).
Jim was a 1964 graduate of Wheeling Central Catholic High School and 1968 graduate of Wheeling College, where he became a CPA. He also served in the United States Army.
He is survived by his son, Brent; daughters, Ann-Marie (Greg) and Marissa (Dodger); and grandchildren, Mason, Cecilia, Ethan, Aaron, and Margot, who will forever cherish memories of his love, strength, and sense of humor.
Jim quietly supported and encouraged many people throughout his life, leaving a lasting impact through his compassion.
Family and friends will be received at Kepner Funeral Home, Elm Grove, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling, WV (304-242-2311) on Friday, April 3, from 4:00 PM until time of service at 6:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System, VA Center for Development and Civic Engagement (118V-A), 1010 Delafield Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15215.
