J. T. Corley, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on July 8, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, family, and community spirit. Born on September 4, 1935, in Noodle, Texas, J. T. was a lifelong Texan who cherished his roots and the values instilled in him by his parents, Joseph Thelmer Corley and Annie Mae Corley (Waldrop).

J. T. earned his high school diploma and pursued further education through some college studies at Arlington State and Texas Christian University. He was a proud small business owner, operating a family-owned business consisting of wholesale auto parts warehouse and retail auto parts stores, a testament to his dedication and entrepreneurial spirit. His pride in this business was matched only by his commitment to family.

A devoted fan of the Texas Rangers baseball team, J. T.'s passion for the sport spanned decades, beginning when the team relocated from Washington, D.C. to Arlington, Texas. Beyond baseball, he found joy in traveling across the United States in his travel trailer, creating cherished memories with his grandchildren.

J. T. was married to Judy (Holland) Corley for over 71 years, a partnership marked by unwavering love and companionship. In addition to his wife, Judy, he is survived by his sons Michael Corley and wife, Luisa, Mark Corley, and Matthew Corley and wife, Marie; his daughter Melanie Brown and husband, John; and his treasured grandchildren James Corley, Rebecca Chapman and husband Rick, Ryan Ehrlich and wife, Kayla, Daniel Corley and wife, Jessica, David Corley, Nicholas Corley, and Madelyn Corley. He also leaves behind great-grandchildren Bailey Chapman and Zoi Chapman, along with numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members who hold him dearly in their hearts.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters Donna Kirkpatrick and Vonnie Moyers, and daughter-in-law Wendy Corley.

J. T. Corley, Jr.'s life was a beautiful journey marked by love, dedication, and family values. His memory will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
