O B I T U A R Y
J.W. "Dub" Wright of Greensburg, Kentucky, son of the late Henry Lee Wright and Verniece Posey Wright, was born on Monday, October 1, 1946 in Green County and departed this life on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at the Grandview Nursing & Rehab Facility. He was 79 years, one month, and seven days of age.
He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Ladies Chapel Methodist Church. He worked in demolition for Hayden Brothers Construction and numerous other companies across the United States. In his pastime, he loved to fish.
Survived by his wife: Donna Fay White Wright of Greensburg, having united in marriage on May 15, 1971.
Other survivors include a son and daughter-in-law: James "Junior" Wright and Lisa Wright of Summersville; three grandchildren: Michaela Darley and husband, Caleb of Campbellsville, Noah Wright and McKenna Wright both of Summersville; a brother: Larry Lynn Wright of Franklin; and a host of other relatives and friends.
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a brother and sister: Bobby Lee Wright and Elaine Tucker.

The funeral services for J.W. "Dub" Wright will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Central Time, Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home with burial to follow in the Ladies Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Garnett Wayne Davis officiating.
Visitation is requested after 9:30 A.M., Central Time, Tuesday at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home until time of the funeral service.
The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Ladies Chapel Cemetery, which can be made at the funeral home.
