Jack Fuller Burke

Jack Fuller Burke, age 77, of Meadowview, Va., went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 16, 2026, at his residence. He was born March 29, 1948, to the late Floyd Wingfield Burke and Arlene Anderson Burke. He retired from HAPCO, where he worked for 53 as a welder. He was an avid fisherman.

In addition to his parents, Jack was also preceded in death by his twin sister, Joy Amos, as well as six additional siblings, Carrie Keys, Jean Jesse, Faye Burnett, Russ Burke, Roy Burke, and Mac Burke.

He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Sharon Barr Burke; two daughters, Missy Salyer of Bristol, Va. and Marian Combs of Abingdon, Va.; two sons, Keith Burke and wife, Anita, of Bristol, Va. and John Jones and wife, Crystal, of Daleville, Va.; four sisters, B.J. Bare, Rene Hudson, Polly Green, and Mona Wykle; four grandsons, Dustin Salyers, Dale Fleenor, Jacob Jones, and Jared Jones; three great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Little Rock Baptist Church, 36242 Loves Mill Rd., Chilhowie, VA 24319, with Pastor Buster Mullins officiating
