Jack G. Carney

Jack Gerald Carney, Jr., age 56, of Belding, formerly of Alto and Grand Rapids, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2023, at Mission Pointe of Belding Nursing Home. He was born on July 19, 1966, in Grand Rapids, Michigan, son of Jack G. and Rachel A. (Helsel) Carney, both of whom preceded him in death. Jack attended Rockford High School and worked in the kitchen at several restaurants throughout his lifetime. He loved to go fishing and was an avid hockey and racing fan and enjoyed watching those sports whenever he could.
He is survived by his daughter, Sarah Carney of Cedar Springs; a grandson, Easton; a sister, Venus (John Mark Westmorland) Carney of Florida; nieces and nephew, Pamela K. (Adam) Burgess of New York, and Nichol Carney and James Morgon both of Florida; 8 great nieces and nephews; his step-mother, Joann Carney of Alto and several cousins and friends.
