Jack Bernard Chapman, 80, of Bremen, Ohio died Friday, November 7, 2025 at the VA Medical Center in Chillicothe. He was born July 9, 1945 in Majestic, Kentucky to the late Clarence and Pearl (Harr) Chapman.
Jack was a graduate of Fairfield Union High School. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in the Vietnam War. He was an ordained minister and would faithfully go to church and to the Fairfield County Jail to minister to all those he could visit. Jack enjoyed driving hot rods that he owned throughout his years, playing poker and fishing.
Jack is survived by his son, Chris (Angie) Chapman; 3 grandsons; sisters, Charlene, Sharon, Yvonne, Margie, Jeanie and Kerry; and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Kathleen Sue Chapman in 1997; sister, Beulah; and brothers, Robert and Willis Ray.
A time to visit with Jack's family will be Wednesday, November 12th from 2 - 4 and 6 - 8 PM at Morgan Funeral Home, Bremen. Funeral services will be Thursday, November 13th at 10 AM in the funeral home with Pastor Marsha Ashbaugh officiating. Graveside services and miliary honors will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, Lancaster. Contributions in Jack's memory may be made to The Michael J.
