Jack Edward “Ed” Cresawn, 67, of Morganton, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at Deer Park Health and Rehabilitation in Nebo.
Ed was born in McDowell County, NC, on March 3, 1958, to the late Thurman and Alma Huskins Cresawn. Ed was an excellent craftsman who loved working with his hands. He enjoyed working on clocks, cars, and maintaining his garden. He enjoyed playing pool and was an avid wrestling and NASCAR fan. Most of all, Ed loved spending time with his grandchildren, who were the light of his life.
In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Cresawn; and a nephew, Timothy Cresawn.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife of 47 years, Donna Cresawn; a son, Jason Cresawn (Jessica); a daughter, Natasha Cresawn Vang; two brothers, Allen Cresawn and Bobby Cresawn (Monie); four grandchildren, Amy, Mandy, Faith, and Gracie Vang; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
