With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved uncle, Jack Fairfield Crumpler, of Stedman, NC. He passed away peacefully on April 4,2025 at the age of 77.
A visitation will be held at 3:15 PM Sunday, April 13, 2025 with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 4:00 PM at Stedman Baptist Church in Stedman, NC, officiating will be Dr. Rev. James Atkinson officiating.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Gidson Crumpler and Mary Agnes Crumpler; and his brothers, David Wayne Crumpler, Dennis Keith Crumpler, and Charles Michael Crumpler.
Known affectionately as "Happy Jack" in his community, Jack was loved by many and remembered for his big heart, infectious smile, and warm hugs. He loved God, his family, friends, and his church. A faithful member of Stedman Baptist Church for many years, Jack enjoyed singing in the choir.
He is survived by his nieces, Patricia Smith and her husband, George Smith III, and Megan Crumpler, all of Fayetteville; his sister-in-law, Kay Willoughby, and her husband, David; his great-nephew, Casey Smith, and his wife, Ema; his great-niece, Kristian, and her significant other, Dillon Eason, of Godwin; and his great-great-nephew, Daxtyn Ledezma, and great-great-niece, Stormi Smith, both of Fayetteville. He will also be deeply missed by many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Stedman Baptist Church Choir in Stedman, NC.
