January 8, 1934 - August 20, 2023
Jack J. Deme, 89, (Retired NHFD) beloved husband of Marie "MiMi" Mancini Deme of East Haven passed away August 20, 2023 at his home. Jack was born in New Haven on January 8, 1934 a son of the late Joseph and Elizabeth Salemme Deme. He was predeceased by his siblings, a sister, Theresa Deme Vail and a brother, Salvatore "Skippy" Deme. Prior to his retirement Jack was a firefighter with the New Haven Fire Department for many years and also worked for the Connecticut Limousine Co.
Services and burial are private. Memorial contributions may be made to CT Hospice at www.hospice.com or the Alzheimer's Association. at www.act.alz.org. Arrangements are in care of the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80), East Haven. Sign Jack's guest book online at www.portofuneralhomes.net
