Jack W. Denney

Jack W. Denney, 82, of Daytona Beach, Florida, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 31, 2025. Jack was born in Austell, Georgia on August 31, 1943 to the late W.W. and Ruth Austin Denney.
Jack moved to Canton, GA in 1950 with his family when his father came to be the manager of Nejasco Farms in the Buffington Community.
Jack was a graduate of the Gordon Military Academy in Barnesville, GA.
Ever the entrepreneur, Jack is remembered for his business ventures of Jack's Junk and Justin's Jewelry in Canton in the 1980s. Jack is fondly remembered for his salesmanship and sense of humor, and never meeting a stranger. Jack has been the main character in many a story of his siblings and cousins, nieces and nephews. Jack brought a confidence to his interactions that put people at ease. A fond memory from Jack's family is his foray into painting and art and his collection of works referred to as "Monet by Denney." Just like Jack's life of adventure, some of the better parts remain unreported.
Jack is also remembered for his devotion to God through many ministries and churches throughout his life. Jack ardently sought a rich and fulfilling spiritual life giving of his time and talents to churches in Georgia, North Carolina, Florida and beyond.
He is survived by his son, Justin W. Denney of Grayson, GA and his siblings, Wilson Denney (Nancy) of Athens, GA, Ann Benzel (Marty) of Waleska, GA and Joan Denney of Johnson City, TN. Several nieces and nephews and cousins also remain.
There will be a family graveside service at a later date.
