Jack grew up in the Enterprise community and spent countless hours fishing the Smoky Hill River that he grew up next to. Jack had a love of fishing that he shared with his children and grandchildren. Jack served his country in the United States Navy and served a tour of duty in Vietnam. On December 9, 1977 he married Sue Whiteley. Jack and Sue have three children; daughters Jamie Gay and Sarah Drummond and one son Eric Drummond as well as 5 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Jack loved to be outdoors, wether it was gardening or barbecuing or just spending time with his family.
Jack is survived by his wife and children as well as his sisters Mary Francis and Kay Hyde and brothers Larry and Tim Drummond. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Danny, Tony, Terry, Mike and Roger Drummond.
Funeral services for Jack will be Friday April 25 2025 at the Martin Becker Carlson Funeral home 414 NW 3rd Abilene, KS at 1:00 p.m. with Lindsay Brummer officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Kidney Fund and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
