He graduated from Clyde High School in 1974. Jack married Wenxia Jiang on May 23, 2011. Jack worked for Leiszler Transport hauling fuel.
Jack is survived by his wife Wenxia Eakins, Concordia, KS; daughter, Kristina Eakins, Topeka, KS; sons, Cory Eakins (Carrie), Clyde, KS & Tony Eakins, Concordia, KS; step-daughter, Zui Holloman (Matthew), Topeka, KS; brother, Jay Eakins, Bentonville, AR.; 2 sisters, Cheryl Tira (Tom), Columbus, NE.; Dawn Steinman (Albert), Chester, NE.; brother-in-law, Ed Bridges, Richland, WA & grandchildren, Cora, Cate, Shaeleigh, Carter, Warric & Ember Eakins & Everleigh Holloman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, LeAnn Bridges & a nephew, Bryan Runyan.
Visitation will be from 1-8 pm with the family greeting friends from 6-7 pm, Tuesday, December 27, 2022 at the Chaput-Buoy Funeral Home, Concordia. Funeral services will be held 10:00 am, Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the funeral home with burial in the Hollis Cemetery, Hollis, Kansas.
