Jack Hawkins Obituary

Mr. Jack Noland Hawkins, ( Hawk) 88, of Gaithersburg, MD, died peacefully surrounded by family on March 3, 2026 at Montcare Potomac, MD.

Born April 19, 1937 in Boyd's, MD, He was the son of the late Mary Francis Dickerhoff and Lawrence F Hawkins. He attended and graduated from Gaithersburg High School Class of 1955 Gaithersburg MD. After high school he served in the 800th. Military Police unit of the US Army, stationed in Ft.Chaffee, Arkansas.

He worked and retired from Super Concrete Company where he established many life long coworker friends.

He enjoyed working on electronics, tvs, computers, antique watches, etc. in his spare time. He loved taking these apart and putting them back together. He could fix everything. He was a dedicated writer, journaling his day to day life for the last fifty years.

His mother was a member of St. Thomas' Episcopal Church in Hancock and Jack continued his relationship with the church as he grew up, playing instruments for the Germantown Methodist Church.

He was a father of four: Larry Wayne Hawkins (Stacy), Connie Sue Hawkins, Deborah Lynn Hawkins (Griffith) Brenda Gail Hawkins.

He is survived by a twin brother Mack Hawkins and his wife Barbara, Robert Hawkins and his wife Joan,, of Gaithersburg, MD, Kenneth Stotler, Larry Stotler and wife Brenda, all of Berkeley Springs, W.Va. and Mary Ann Stotler of FL. ( 8 ) grandchildren; and ( 17 ) great-grandchildren, many Nieces and Nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers Lawrence Franklin Hawkins JR., Wayne Gerald Stotler, formal wife Patsy Baker Hawkins (Holsinger) Nephew Robert (Robby) Hawkins, Great nephew Michael Robert William Corse.
