Jack Jamison Obituary
He was a graduate of Morgantown High School, class of 1967. After graduation from Fairmont State with a degree in Engineering Technology/Electrical Electronics, he worked as an inside sales engineer with General Electric in Rome, GA before returning to Morgantown to work as a Master Electrician in the family electrical contracting business and then as an electrical inspector. He was a founding member of the WV Chapter of the Independent Alliance of the Electrical Industry. Known for his ability to quote the current electrical code, constant willingness to help a customer, unending devotion to his family, wild hair and bushy eyebrows, love of hot air balloons and white chocolate macadamia nut cookies, he will be greatly missed by all.
Jack is survived by his wife of 41 years, Cindy Jamison; daughters, Jodi Beard (Shawn) of Canonsburg, PA, Catie Chalmers (Lee) of Warrenton, VA, Jennifer Sparkman (Christopher) of Gray Court, SC, and Julie McNamar (James) of Columbia, SC; one sister Judy Clemmer (Kevin) of Mount Sidney, VA; brother-in-law, David Shamberger; grandchildren, Kayla Higgins (David), Christian Jamison, Lauren Hussion, Dorian Mason (fiancée Megan), Sarah Hussion, Zachery Jamison, Lacey Chalmers, Chase Mason, Blake Mason; great-grandchildren, Avery and Riley Higgins, Lyncoln LeRoy, and Alex Mason.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by his sister Jill Shamberger.
The family would like to extend special thanks the staff at The Madison Center for their care and patience during his stay.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Jack's name to the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute c/o WVU Foundation, One Waterfront Place, 7th Floor, P.O. Box 1650, Morgantown, WV 26507-1650.
Family and friends may call at McCulla Funeral Home, 770 Fairmont Rd., Westover on Sunday, May 18, 2025 from 2-6 pm. Visitation will continue on Monday at McCulla Funeral Home from 10 am until the funeral begins at 11 am. Interment will follow at East Oak Grove Cemetery and online condolences may be sent to the family at www.McCulla.com

I remember Jack as a true professional ... with a twinkle in his eye he was all business, and expected the same from the job'er .... When he inspected
our business and our garage I knew the work was done correctly .... He will be missed ....
