Jack Jarchow's Funeral Service Video
Jack Leslie Jarchow, age 75, of
Bonduel, Wisconsin passed away peacefully after heroically fighting cancer and related illnesses. His loving family was with him till the end.
Jack was born in Shiocton and educated in a one-room school house. In Jack's young adult years he ventured to California, working in L.A. at a gas station on the strip. Eventually moving back to the area, he started a life of dedication to his family and working hard to provide for them. On March 11, 1988, Jack married the love of his life, Ginny Lane. After 35 years of marriage, Ginny passed away.
In his free time, Jack enjoyed wood working and was quite skilled. He had a huge soft spot for animals and adored his dogs. Jack loved summer, being outside in warm weather, bonfires, long drives, and cold beer, but he enjoyed his family most of all. Jack was meticulous and methodical, encouraging his children to chew each mouthful at least 32 times. He was a wonderful father, husband and friend. He will be lovingly remembered.
Our dad was humble and gentle natured. His wisdom could be measured by his silence. He truly meant the words he spoke. He was completely non-judgmental, quiet and always kind. The clear blue sky of a warm summer day will forever remind us of his twinkling blue eyes and kindly smile.
Jack is survived by his children, Jody (Tom Ricklefs) Bendixen, Corey (Karen) Jarchow, Brian Bendixen, Dina Jarchow, Richard Bendixen, Leslie (Joshua) Kleist; his grand children, Anthony (Blaze) Faulkner) Jarchow, Taylor (James) Fettig, Trayton (Megan Ruhland) Nikolai, Benjamin Jarchow, Kaylyn (Chris Clark) Jarchow, Ryan (Morgan) Schroeder, Tyler Kleist, Michael Korth, Blaze (Caitlyn) Korth, Jenna Bendixen, Cody Lee Rotramel, Madalynn Bendixen, Carter Kleist; his great grandchildren, Roman Fettig, Haiden Korth, and twins on the way. He is further survived by his siblings, Don (Janet) Jarchow, Bob Jarchow, Dennis (Emily Hetto) Jarchow, Bonnie (Mike) Krueger, Sherry (Dennis) Strack; and his dogs, Maya and Abbie. Additionally, Jack is survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Beulah (Lamb); his loving wife, Ginny; his sisters, Sandra Schucknect, Audrey (David) Olesen; his sisters-in-law, Pat and Betty; and his brother-in-law, Don Schucknecht.
A special thank you to Jack's nurse "Sam J." at AMC Oncology.
