Hello-
My mother moved to a different floor recently at Walker, but we were up on 3R for 9 months, and I spent time watching Jack wondering what he did previously in his life. I even watched him walk down the hall on 3R with a funny hat on. My mother and I ate dinner alot at a table right by his room. I could tell he was very much loved by his family. I am happy that he is free of the disease now, and I hope his passage was blissful.

John & Carrie-
I thought of your dad just last week as I walked with my daughter around our old block. I was giving her an overview of what it was like growing up there. We were in front of your house and she noticed that the sidewalk was raised (from tree roots). She asked me if I used to have to ride my bike fast to get over the bump. I told her that the bump wasn't there when I was younger. She looked up at your house and said, "So the king who used to live here made sure everything was safe and fun for kids?" Yes, your dad quietly made sure things were safe and fun for kids. He was wonderful -- as was your mom. God Bless them both.

Dear Lambrechts,
We are so sorry for your loss. We know Jack was always there for all of you.
I know you are trying so hard to keep it together. But, know that if you are not able to, it's okay. We're all around you to support you and to reinforce that Jack's life was great because you AND he made it great.
