Ronald Ellis Leroy Lambrecht, 86, passed away surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2025. He was born on March 17, 1939, to Charles and Hazel (Hopkins) Lambrecht in Benton Harbor. On June 30, 1962, Ronald married Evelyn Wagner, and they spent 63 wonderful years together.
Ronald proudly served his country in the U.S. Army. After his time in the service, he went on to work for Vail Rubber Works for 37 years. During Ronald's younger life he loved to ride motorcycles, but more recently he loved fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, camping and spending time at their property up north. His greatest pastime was spending time with his grandchildren and family.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Evelyn Lambrecht; children: Kimberly (Michael) Hazard, Tamara (Kurt) Koenigshof, Ronald R. (Grace) Lambrecht; grandchildren: Ashley, Mikala, Tracy, Destiny, Travis, Megan; great-grandchildren: Gavin, Chloe, Ryley, Brendan, Maverick, Landon and Myla; siblings, Naomi and Juanita and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters: Luzzetta, Louadell, Maradell and brothers: Edgar, Valoris, Olin, Gaylord, Delbert, Marlin, Kenneth and Curtis.
A memorial service for Ronald will take place at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 17, at Twelve Corners Community Church, 3287 Hicks Ave., Benton Harbor. Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
