Jack Nollett Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Colyer Funeral Home on Jan. 13, 2026.
A celebration of life for JACK EUGENE NOLLETT, 73, will be held 11am Friday January 16, 2026, at the Colyer Funeral Home Chapel with Julie Newman officiating. Jack passed away peacefully surrounded by love January 11, 2026, at Torrington Community Hospital and cremation has taken place. Memorials can be made to Waggin' Tails Animal Shelter in Jack's name. Arrangements are under the direction of the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com Jack was born April 21, 1952, in Kearney, Nebraska to Gail and Mary (Jones) Nollett. He spent his younger years growing up in Nebraska. Later he moved to Fort Collins, Colorado for a short time before moving to Cheyenne, Wyoming and finally settling in Torrington, Wyoming where he and his wife Carol retired. He has beloved children from his first marriage, Frank, Samantha, Bambi, Jackie and Jeremy. His children expanded the family to beautiful, loved grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was fortunate to have his inner circle of love with his siblings, Bev, Danny, Pat, Rhonda and Richard. Above all he was truly a good man. He had a great sense of humor, was witty, liked to joke around and was very intelligent. As a kid he grew up hunting pheasants and deer. He loved nature, the outdoors and fishing. Animals held a very near and dear place in Jack's heart, especially his hunting dogs and all the pets he had in life. He and his wife Carol attended church at the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Cheyenne. Jack was a very well known and loved man by all those that knew him, especially his family. A phrase that he often used was "I love you so very much". His strength and determination are two things that he kept up until the very end, and that is to be admired. Jack is survived by his wife Carol, children; Frank, Samantha, Bambi, Jackie and Jeremy, stepchildren; Deana and Jennifer, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and several siblings. Those welcoming him into Heaven include his parents Gail and Mary, mother-in-law Joyce, sister-in-law Linda, siblings, Bev and Pat and daughter Michelle.

I love and miss you Uncle Jack! My favorite memories were you taking me to my first ever movie in theater. ( Jurassic Park) Also when I'd go pheasant hunting with you and Auntie Carol. Love Christina
