Jack Onofrey, 65, passed away peacefully on July 31, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, faith and service that will be cherished by all who knew him.
Born on April 9, 1960, Jack lived a life defined by dedication-to his family, his friends, and everyone lucky enough to cross his path. A retired service manager from Roy O'Brien Ford, Jack poured decades of care and leadership into his work before retiring in 2020. Retirement didn't slow him down-instead, it brought a new chapter of joy and fulfillment when he and his beloved wife, Roshell, relocated to The Villages, Florida. There, he found not only sunshine and golf courses, but a vibrant community where he made fast friends and lasting memories.
Jack was a busy body in the best sense of the word-always fixing, helping, planning, and making sure those around him had what they needed, often before they even asked. He golfed more than he ever thought possible, shared endless laughs with old friends and new, and found deep joy in being a loving husband, a devoted father and stepfather, and a proud grandfather.
He is survived by his loving wife, Roshell Onofrey; his children: John (Erin), Kevin (Cathryn) with granddaughters Lila, Caroline, and Julia; Madison (David) Cooper with grandchildren Griffin and Aurora; Regan (Kelun) Wang with grandchildren Niko and Nora; and Taylor Chuhran. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Barbara Onofrey, in 2012.
Jack is also survived by his cherished sisters Nancy (Ken) and Amy (John), and is reunited in peace with his late brothers: Mike (CC), Tom (Janet), and Rick (Denise).
A true people person, Jack could strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere. His infectious laughter, boundless energy, and warm heart made him unforgettable. He was a sports fan, a talker, a fixer, a planner, a golfer-and above all, a man who loved deeply and gave selflessly.
He will be missed more than words can describe.
