Jack went home to his Lord and Savior Tuesday, August 26, 2025 after an extended illness. He is survived by his mother, Susan (Lonobile) Padula, sister Paula (Raymond) Kent, nieces Kimberly (Stephen) Frink and Kaitlin (Matthew) Confer and many other dear family and friends. He is predeceased by his father, Delio Padula.
Born in Rochester, NY on August 11, 1955, Jack enjoyed a wonderful childhood. He loved sharing stories of playing with his cousins and neighborhood friends. He had an especially close relationship with his sister, Paula. He especially enjoyed picking on her, until he taught her how to box! Over the years they made many memories and shared many wonderful times together with their parents.
Jack attended Monroe Community College and Rochester Institute of Technology earning degrees in Electrical Engineering and Economics. He enjoyed a long career at Eastman Kodak and later Carestream Health. He was able to travel the world and meet many wonderful people.
One of the most important people he met was a colleague who led him to Christ in the 1980s. If you knew Jack, you knew how important his faith was to him. He became a fervent student of the Bible, often teaching and preaching wherever he was. He led many to Jesus Christ.
Outside of work, Jack spent many hours working alongside his dad, Del on many projects. These included most notably a large Christmas village and train table. He designed and ran many miles of electrical wire for these projects! He was a devoted son, spending his free time assisting his beloved parents however he could.
Jack was always generous with his time and resources to those he truly cared about. He was never too busy to lend an ear or offer counsel to those in his life. For his friends and his family, this is his greatest legacy. He loved everyone so well.
Family will receive friends 11:00 am - 1:00 pm Friday, August 29, 2025 at New Comer Cremations & Funerals, 6 Empire Boulevard, where his Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 pm
