Jack Raymond Rausch, 77, of Evansville, passed away Wednesday, October 18, 2023 surrounded by family at the Linda E. White Hospice House. He was born April 23, 1946 in Evansville to the late Oma (Davis) and Jack L. Rausch.
Jack was a graduate of Rex Mundi High School in 1964 and attended Ivy Tech. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force. Jack was a sales representative for Sysco Foods. He enjoyed golfing and watching IU basketball. He liked camping and spending time outdoors. He also played softball on the team Easy Outs.
Jack is survived by his wife of 54 years, Eileen (Elpers) Rausch; son, Jeff (Linda) Rausch; daughter, Sherry (Matt) Deig; grandchildren, Courtney (Donnie), Dalton (Brianna), Lexi, Griffin and Hunter; great-grandchildren, Harper, Henry and Michael; brother, Bill Rausch; sisters, Sandy Boyd, Linda (Deryl) Southwell, Mary Eubank and Dottie (Dave) Huff.
In addition to his parents, Jack was preceded in death by brother-in-law, Bill Boyd; and loving cat, Teddy Bear.
At Jack's request, there will be no services at this time. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Ziemer Funeral Home Central Chapel.
