Jack J. Ronevich, 79, of St. Clairsville, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024, in Wheeling Hospital. He was born on June 4, 1945, in Mt. Pleasant, a son of the late Alex and Bessie (Chmelovsky) Ronevich.
Jack was Methodist by faith, a graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School, class of 1963, retired from American Consolidated Natural Resources, formerly Murray Energy, after having worked in the coal industry for many years. He enjoyed golf, bird watching, wildlife and all aspects of nature. Jack was also an avid OSU and Pittsburgh Pirates fan. His biggest joy was spending time with his wife, grandkids, and his cat buddies.
He is survived by his loving wife Nancy (Jackson) Ronevich; a son, Jim (Tammy) Ronevich; a stepson, Terry (Amy) Crawford; brother, Chuck Ronevich; twin sister, Jackie Sawchuk; three grandchildren, Josh Crawford his fiancé' J'Lyse Kafana, Jerod (Sarah) Crawford and Maddie Crawford.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, Alex, and Mike Ronevich.
Friends may call Wednesday, September 4 from 11 am to 1 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside. A memorial service will be held at 1 pm in the funeral home with Pastor James Hoff officiating.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice in Jack's memory.
