Marcie Ronevich Obituary
Marcie Ronevich, born on May 2, 1961, of Martins Ferry, Ohio, passed away on June 6, 2024, after a long and courageous battle with multiple sclerosis.
Marcie is survived by her devoted daughter, Tausha Ronevich (Bradley) Johnson, her dedicated brother Jeff Ronevich and sister-in-law Patty Ronevich, and her three cherished granddaughters, Vivienne, Emilia, and Maren Johnson. She is also survived by her steadfast aunts and uncles, Jackie Sawchuk, Jack & Nancy Ronevich, Chuck Ronevich, and Mara Marquardt, who provided unwavering support and laughter throughout her life. Marcie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Alex, and Ruth (Marquardt) Ronevich.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the many caregivers who provided dignified care and comfort to Marcie over the years. Special thanks go to her long-term caregiver and friend, Jackie Polivka, whose companionship brightened Marcie's years. Marcie was also blessed by her "Sunday sweetheart," Mark Proctor, whose presence brought her immense joy and comfort.
Marcie's warmth, positivity, and kindness will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her legacy of strength and grace in the face of adversity will continue to inspire those who knew and loved her.
There will be a visitation and luncheon held to celebrate Marcie's life on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, 920 National Rd., Brookside, Ohio, 43912 from 9:30AM till time of service at 11:30AM, followed by interment at Holly Memorial Gardens.
