My good friend Jack, I called him Jackson, will be forever on my mind and in my heart. We shared our great and good friend, Billy Robinson, who made Jack's last years a delight. Gone but happy while living on Little Paint Creek Ranch. R.I.P.

It isn't often a person comes along in ones life who personifies what it is to be a good individual. Jack lived a simple but meaningful life. He wasn't incumbered by materialistic needs, money or the constant onslaught of "norms" that has taken society and made it the inexplicable nonsense that it is today. Jack nearly always and only dealt in factual knowledge that would rival most encyclopedias. During his professional career he held a daily regiment that would make most militaries envious and a work ethic that is all but gone in todays world. Always quick with an obscure reference an odd joke or happy to teach, Jack was celebrated by those who knew him best as "The Jack of All Trades". Need to reload ammo and didn't know how...ask Jack. Need to work on a diesel engine on a 1973 John Deere tractor...ask Jack. Need to "Think like a Deer"...ask Jack. Need to know what fishing lure to use on a specific stretch of water nearly anywhere in the United States on the second Tuesday of February at 2:30 PM Central Standard Time...ask Jack. And finally, need to sitdown, have a beer or two and let the worlds troubles be talked about....ask Jack.
Men like him are very far and very few between, I know I will never have the privledge of knowing another person like him but I am supremely greatful to have known him. Godspeed Amigo and with love. Jim
