Jack F. Ruebensaal III

Jack F. Ruebensaal III, age 75, passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2023. His heart failed him after a successful sinus surgery at Toledo Hospital. Jack was a Vietnam Veteran, serving his tour of duty from September 1968 through October 1969 as a Medic at the 45th Surgical Hospital in Tay Ninh. After 50 years, he enjoyed renewed connections with his army buddies. Most of his 50+ years as a Machine Repairman were at Acklin Stamping Toledo (21 years) and Chrysler Toledo Machining in Perrysburg (32 years).
Jack was born in Alexandria, Virginia to the late Jack and Ellen Ruebensaal. He is survived by his wife Pat, brother Mike and Nell Ruebensaal, sons Jack (IV) and Sara Ruebensaal, Jonathan Bartholomy, daughter Amanda and Joe Anderson, grandsons Jack Ruebensaal and Trevor Anderson, and a granddaughter. He was preceded in death by grandson Braden Anderson. He cherished hearing about the accomplishments of his many nieces and nephews.
Jack enjoyed trips to Frankenmuth, Michigan and Chicago, Illinois, Jack's (Ruby) soccer games, holiday exterior illumination, and his all-time favorite hobby, mowing the lawn. A celebration of Jack's Heavenly Birthday will be held at a later date.
