Jack Franklin Sadler, a lifelong resident of Bellingham, Washington, passed away peacefully at the age of 91 on February 11, 2026. Jack was born on December 17, 1934, in Bellingham to Frank Joseph Sadler and Pearl Marie (Luke) Sadler.

Jack attended Bellingham schools and went on to earn his Bachelor's degree from Western Washington University and his Master's degree in Experimental Psychology from Washington State University. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. After completing his education, Jack worked as an Industrial Psychologist for Boeing, where he remained until his retirement.

On June 6, 1964, Jack married Mary Lee Sadler in Bellingham. They shared 53 years of marriage before Mary passed away in September 2017.

Jack is survived by his brother, Paul Sadler and Paul's wife, Stephanie, along with their children: Dan (Ann), Jeffrey, and Rebecca Sadler Belmer. He is also survived by his daughter, Monica Lynn Atwater. Jack was preceded in death by his wife, Mary, and his son, Andrew Joseph Sadler.

Jack was a proud grandfather to three grandsons: Joe Skar (Miranda), James Skar (Ivana), and Casey Sowa. He was also blessed with four great-grandchildren: Ivy Skar, Violet Skar, Luca Skar, and Mia.

Jack was an avid fisherman and hunter, and especially enjoyed spending time outdoors with his brother, Paul, and his nephews, Dan and Jeff. He also had a lifelong interest in cars, trucks, and boats, and could often be found searching online for a good deal. Golf was another passion. Jack played on both his high school and Western Washington University golf teams. He was also an assistant professional at Bellingham Golf and Country Club, working alongside his father, who served as the club's golf professional.

Jack will be laid to rest at Lummi Island Church Cemetery beside his wife, Mary, and son, Andrew.

A celebration of life will be held on March 28th, 2026, at 12:30 at the Grange Hall on Lummi Island.
