The Lacroix family has your family in their prayers and memories, living on Betts Rd together. Maggie & Leo have very fond memories of Mr. Wingate, they would tell me from time to time how he would visit them, just to check in, these past 8 years or so, since Leo's stroke. I would sometimes see Mr. Wingate outside his home, while I drove past to go see my parents. I was always impressed with his stamina and determination to do it himself, doing yard work and even shoveling. Sometimes I'd even see him at the grocery store. It was always a pleasure.

Martha, I´m sorry to hear of Jack´s passing. I worked with Jack for many years at MVBM. I always enjoyed working alongside him and his good nature always showed through. He will be missed.

To Martha and family. Please accept our sincere condolences on the loss of Jack. It makes me smile to remember the times that we would struggle with that "damn" dock every spring!! Jack always had a plan on how to resurrect it!! Finally reality set in and we realized it was time to let it go!! Thankfully before we got hurt! Also, throughout the years I would bring all of my nephews over to see the "island trains". Jack was so proud of his hobby and eager to share his enthusiasm. Thank you for sharing Jack with us. He was a good friend and leaves us with fond memories.

Even though I met Martha and Jack only a couple of times, we formed a bond of friendship even though we live miles apart. Rest in peace Jack? You were a wonderful person with a heart of gold. You will be missed.
