John Raymond “Jack” Wolf, 79, of Tipton, died Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at his home.

He was born January 14, 1946, in Jefferson City, son of Raymond “Doc” and Berniece (Williams) Wolf.

On May 27, 1967, at St. Andrew’s Catholic Church in Tipton, he was married to Barbara Smith.

Jack was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was a member of the Class of 1965 at Tipton High School. He worked as a meat cutter for Gerbes Supermarkets.

Jack was a member of St. Andrew’s Catholic Church. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and channel surfing on his tv.

Surviving are his wife of 58 years, Barbara; a daughter, Jennie “Beccie” Wolf-Alarcon (Marco), of Versailles; a son, James Robert “Jay” Wolf (Ashley), of California; four grandchildren, Christie, Stefanie, Natalie, and Jackson; and a great-grandson, Henry.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a great-granddaughter, Lillie.

No services are planned. Cremation arrangements are in the care of Meisenheimer-Page-Dady Funeral Home in Tipton.

Memorials are suggested to the American Heart Association.
