He is survived by three sons, Jackie Ronald Crabtree, Jr. of Stuarts Draft, VA, James Sherer Crabtree of Dante, VA, and Jackie Todd Crabtree of Lexington, KY; three daughters, Carol Ann Shifflett of Verona, VA, Angel Michelle Crabtree of Bristol, TN, and Tiffany Rochelle Hall of Wise, VA; three brothers, Charles James Crabtree of Louisa, KY, Larry Ken Crabtree of Morristown, TN, and Donald Dean Crabtree of Castlewood, VA; 15 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation with the family will be held 4-6 p.m. Sunday, July 30, 2017, at the Main Street Chapel of Farris Funeral Service. Funeral services will follow at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Greg Crabtree officiating. A graveside committal service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday in Temple Hill Memorial Park with Corey Crabtree, Derek Crabtree, Bradley Crabtree, David Crabtree, Cody Tuggle, and Sam Nichols serving as pallbearers. Those wishing to attend the committal are asked to convene at the cemetery before 11:00 a.m.
