Jackie Eugene Fisher

Jackie Eugene Fisher, 77, passed away on November 7, 2025, in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Born on April 3, 1948 to Gladdys Mae Pegg and Wade Otto Fisher, in Asheville, North Carolina, Jackie resided in Fort Gibson, Oklahoma. He also briefly lived in Reno, Nevada as well as Norman, Oklahoma. Jackie married the love of his life Betty Anne (Crisp) on the 11th of June in 1999.
Jackie built a long and respected career in the trucking industry. He spent many years behind the wheel as a dedicated truck driver for Trucks For You out of Muskogee, Oklahoma, as well as Shanks Trucking and Brokerage based in Webbers Falls. Later in life, he transitioned into a role at Graham Packaging in Muskogee before retiring. His work ethic and commitment were evident throughout his professional journey.
Beyond his career, Jackie was a gifted musician who found joy in playing guitar, singing, and writing music. Music was not just a pastime but a passion that filled his days with purpose and expression. He also had a love for cars-collecting them and spending countless hours tinkering under the hood brought him great satisfaction. Another source of pride was the garden he cultivated with his beloved wife. Together they nurtured an array of exotic plants that reflected their shared appreciation for beauty and nature.
Jackie's legacy lives on through his family. He is remembered by his sons Joey Fisher and Wesley Fisher of Norman, Oklahoma; step-daughters Lea Anne Prince of Pea Ridge, Arkansas; Denise Fisher of Norman, Oklahoma; and Brandy Raper along with her husband Kelly of Wagoner, Oklahoma. His grandchildren include Kira Fisher, Kelly Clark, Coy Fisher, Auburn Fisher, Brandy Ragsdale, Steven Fisher, Christian Martin, and John Keene-all of Norman; Savanah Parrot and husband from Kansas; Gauge Weber, wife Sarah of Fort Gibson; Dayton Weber, wife Sarah of Okay; Lane Weber, wife Jordan of Bixby; Calli Raper of Muskogee, Oklahoma. Tracie Falgout, husband Josh of Muskogee; Brodie Martin of Fort Gibson; and Kacie, Dustin, Ryne, and Sadie Prince of Pea Ridge. Jackie also leaves behind numerous great-grandchildren whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his wife Betty Anne Fisher; son Eric Dale Fisher; as well as his parents and grandparents.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
Jackie Eugene Fisher will be remembered for the music he made, the engines he brought to life, the garden he grew with care-and most importantly-for the love he gave to those around him. May his memory bring comfort to all who knew him.
