Jackie Kight Obituary
Jackie Barron Kight passed away peacefully at her home on July 8, 2024, in Rentz, GA. Born on January 6, 1949, Jackie's life was a tapestry of love, laughter, and dedication, woven through her 75 years of life.
Jackie was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Lois and Wilborn Barron; her cherished husband, Charles Kight; her siblings, Ann Towle, Patsy Gilbert, Judy Stevens, Kay Barron, and Kathy Jo Barron, as well as her brothers, Kenny and Ronnie Barron.
Her memory will be treasured and kept alive by her daughters, Lisa Baggett and Cindy Floyd of Rentz; her sons, Kevin (Jere) Baggett of Dublin, and Jason Baggett of Twin City; her adored grandchildren, Lindsey, Meg, Evan, and Nick Baggett, Carson Graham, and Elizabeth and Jesse Kight; her three great-grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Allen, and numerous nieces and nephews. Jackie's love also extended to her beloved fur baby, Charlie, who was a constant source of joy and companionship.
Jackie's professional life was marked by her dedicated service at Rockwell Automation, from which she retired after many years of commitment. Jackie's hands were rarely still, as she poured her love into every stitch by sewing and by creating beautiful quilts that will serve as cherished heirlooms for generations to come.
She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, who will be deeply missed.
Graveside services will be held at Kite City Cemetery in Kite, Georgia at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, July 10, 2024. Pastor Stephen Beck will officiate.
The family will be receiving friends at the home of her daughter, Lisa Baggett.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Georgia Hospice Care, 1111 Hillcrest Pkwy., Dublin, GA 31021.
