Jackie Smith Obituary
Jackie was born on January 14, 1942, in Gallatin, Texas, to Charlie and Ola Smith.
Jackie is preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Katie, Rosie, Katherine and brothers, Wiley, Red, and Lewis Smith.
Jackie is survived by his loving wife Betty Smith of 61 years, daughter Carla Hill, sons, Bobby and Michael Smith, granddaughters, Amanda, Jessie, Sharleen, Emily, Brittany, and grandsons, Jack, Charlie, and Ethan. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren, family, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Jackie served his country in the Army as a Radio Teletype Operator in Hanau, Germany. He was a member of Master Mason, Scottish Rite of Freemasonry, and Knight Templar for many years.
Jackie loved family events, fishing, yardwork, and gardening.
Jackie and his brothers sang solos in church as children. Jackie loved talking to his vet buddies.
Jackie will be missed by all.
