Jackie E. Wilson, 86, of Tipton, Indiana, formerly of Wabash, Indiana, was called by God and entered her heavenly home on Tuesday, October 14, 2025. She was born on February 7, 1939, in Lagro, Indiana, to Benjamin and Hazel (Bitzel) Corn. Jackie was the youngest of ten siblings and grew up on a small farm in the Wabash County area.
She married Donovan C. Conrad on February 25, 1956; he died July 28, 1990. They raised their family on a working dairy farm outside of Huntington then Lagro near the Salamonie Reservoir. After Donovan passed away in 1990, Jackie sold the dairy and tillage farm, then moved to Wabash. She then married Robert S. Wilson on October 2, 1992, and they resided in Wabash until January 2015, when they moved to Kokomo, Indiana to be closer to family. Robert died October 27, 2018. Jackie moved to Tipton with her granddaughter Brooke, in March 2025.
Jackie attended Urbana School. She volunteered for Helping Hands, Meals on Wheels and the Wabash Thrift Store. Over the years she served her church in many ways and fostered lifelong friendships at each. She was a former member of the Wabash Christian Missionary Alliance Church & Wabash Emmanuel Free Will Baptist Church. She is a member of Victory Baptist Church, Kokomo, IN. She enjoyed gardening, raising Hosta plant varieties, preserving her garden bounty, cooking and entertaining friends and family. She wintered in TX for a season and enjoyed traveling. She stayed close to her many siblings, their spouses, and her nieces and nephews throughout the years and looked forward to annual reunions.
She is survived by three children, Timothy Wayne Conrad of Crossville, Tennessee, Terry (David) Keown of Georgetown, Kentucky, and Tamra (Scott) Toothman of Kokomo, Indiana; grandchildren Bret (Summer) Bailey of Arcadia, Indiana, Brooke (Joshua) Rosselot of Tipton, Brian (Terra Manke) Bailey of Bloomington, Indiana, Samantha (Nathan) Raymer and Alicia (Jeff Greenfield) Keown, both of Georgetown, Kentucky; great-grandchildren, Boston Bailey, Briley Bailey, Carter Bailey, Finn Bailey, Jackson Raymer, and Aiden Greenfield. She was preceded in death by her parents, her son, Thomas W. Conrad, husbands, Donovan C. Conrad and Robert S. Wilson, and her siblings, Ida May Reece, Elma Eloise Brewer, Asa Corn, Ben Corn, Jr., James Corn, Junior Corn, Gene Corn, Catherine Gudas, Lester Corn, and Charles Corn.
Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Monday, October 20, 2025 at Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service, 1241 Manchester Avenue, Wabash with Pastor Michael Ennis officiating. Burial will be in Lagro Cemetery, Lagro. Friends may call 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
