It is with profound grief that we announce the passing of Jackson Price Jeffus of
Rockwall, Texas. Jackson was born January 18, 2007, in
Dallas, Texas, to his blessed parents, Justin and Erin Jeffus. He was welcomed into his eternal home by Our Father January 27, 2026, in Stephenville, Texas.
Jackson was a bright light and a source of laughter for all those who knew him. His presence brought joy, warmth and so much meaning to those around him. Jackson had the ability to see into peoples' hearts, regardless of their outer shells. If he loved you, know that you are "down home good".
Jackson loved his friends and family deeply. He was a Christian and a loyal friend, always ready to offer a helping hand. Jackson had a profound love for his family and was always ready to protect them with words, physical protection, comfort and an empathic heart that was immeasurable. His sacrificial love is a trait that is rarely matched this side of Heaven.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing and back road driving. Jackson was a "renaissance man" with an entrepreneurial spirit who could literally learn to do anything -from taking a hem in a friend's jeans, sewing his momma some pillows, making beautiful crosses from wood and metal, even to repairing furniture. If it was broken he would fix it.
Jackson was a tireless worker. He would work for anyone at any time. You couldn't out work Jackson Jeffus. He worked as a Welder, a Cattleman, and if ever you wanted a brisket, steak, or the best ribs in Texas, he was your man. And he did it with a smile. Jackson was honored with many awards throughout his lifetime to include accolades for character, hard work, effort as well as his BBQ and welding skills.
He is survived by his loving parents, Justin and Erin Jeffus; his devoted sister Jenna Langley and brother-in-law Brandon Langley; his adoring grandparents Pat and Jennifer Oler; His aunts and uncles Dannen and Deanne Oler, Jeannie Jeffus and Jeff Garner, Jennifer Jeffus, and Jimmy Jeffus; and many cousins, Hannah, Jace, Kyla, Lauren, Ani, Kanton. He was greeted in Heaven by his late grandparents, Big Daddy and Momma J as well as many others who love him deeply.
In lieu of flowers or trees, we ask that donations be made to the Rockwall Ag Mechanics program. Jackson had a passion for this program, and it helped shape him into a confident young man. We would like to help other kids be able to build as big as they can dream and to be able to travel to shows and receive the honors and accolades they so deserve.
