Anna Skyles Obituary
Anna Marie Skyles, 80, of St. James passed away on January 8, 2026, at her home in St. James. She was born in St. James on June 30, 1945, to Lyman James and Edna W. (Geren) Skyles.
She attended school at Flag Springs School until 1959 and later earned her G.E.D. in 1999, which she was very proud to earn.
Anna worked as a seamstress for California Manufacturing for many years and attended Grace and Faith Church in St. James.
She enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, word puzzles, and read her bible daily.
Anna is preceded in death by her parents Lyman J. and Edna Skyles; brothers George Skyles, Norman Skyles, Lyman E. Skyles; sisters Margaret Jose and her husband James and Mary Skyles; brother-in-law David Schroyer; nephew Eddie Skyles; great nephew Dalton Courtway
She is survived by brothers Charles (Connie) Skyles of Rockwall, Texas, Richard Skyles of St. James, Harry (Betty) Skyles of Little Rock, Arkansas; sisters Dorothy Skyles of St. James, Carla (Charlie) Scantlin of Cuba, Edith Schroyer of Cuba, and Sharon (Louis) Jones of Longview, Texas; sister in law Dora Skyles of Rolla and Mary Skyles of Salem, as well as several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews.
