Jayson Thomas Ross

Jayson Thomas Ross, of Rolla, MO, passed away Thursday, March 26, 2026 at the age of 25.

Jayson was born on June 10, 2000 to Thomas and Michaela (Siegrist) Ross. On June 3, 2023, he married Emma (Weinbaum) Ross in Rolla, MO. He welcomed his daughter, Ruth Elisabeth Ross on February 1, 2026. Jayson was preceded in death by his grandfather, Rolf Siegrist.

Jayson Ross was a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son, brother, and faithful friend. Above all, he was a man deeply committed to his relationship with Jesus Christ, unwavering in his faith and steadfast in his walk with the Lord.

Jayson worked diligently with his hands, laboring alongside his father and family in construction, a reflection of both his strong work ethic and his love for building not only structures, but a legacy. He was the proud owner of Camp Elim RV Park and campground, as well as Co-Owner of Sons and Daughters Wedding Venue, where his vision, dedication, and care for others were evident in all he did.

He was a devoted family man who loved fiercely and wholeheartedly, always putting those he loved above himself. Jayson lived with a heart fully surrendered to God, desiring that every person he encountered would come to know the love, grace, and truth of Jesus.

His life beautifully reflected the words of Paul in 1 Corinthians 9:19–23:

"I have become all things to all people so that by all possible means I might save some. I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings."

Jayson's life was a testimony of faith in action, and his legacy will continue to impact all who knew him.

Jayson will be sadly missed by his surviving family which includes: his wife, Emma Ross of Rolla, MO; his daughter, Ruth Ross of Rolla, MO; his parents, Thomas and Michaela Ross of Newburg, MO; his parents-in-law, Summer and Nathan Chapman and Aaron and Brenna Weinbaum, all of Rolla, MO; a sister, Meggy Lohr and husband, Bradley; grandparents, Jack and Sonja Ross and Helga Siegrist; a nephew, Arlo Lohr; special cousins, Tamy Arce, Andres Arce, Eva Arce and Camilo Arce; aunts, uncles, cousins, brothers and sisters in Christ, and extended family and friends.

A funeral service for Jayson T. Ross will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, April 2, 2026 at the Greentree Christian Church in Rolla. Interment will follow in the Rolla City Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service beginning at 10 a.m. at the church.

Memorial contributions in honor of Jayson are suggested to Life Church in Rolla or for Jayson and Emma's daughter, Ruth.
