Jackson E. Sturm Jr., affectionately known as "Pops", passed away peacefully at his home in Beaumont, California, on the morning of September 3, 2025, at the age of 80-

Born on January 4, 1945, in Clarksburg, West Virginia, Jack was the only child of Jackson E. Sturm and Nona Maxine Sturm. He met the love of his life Dolores ("Jo") Alexander at Bridgeport High School and graduated in 1962. He soon thereafter married Jo with whom he shared a devoted partnership of 61 years. Together, they welcomed their son, Scott T. Sturm.

Jack attended West Virginal University and became the proprietor of a successful heating, air conditioning, and sheet metal business for over five decades. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, golf, and treasured spending time with his friends and family. His commitment to community was evident through his service as past president of the Solara Golf Association and as an Elder at Grace Lutheran Church in Banning. Known for his outgoing nature, Jack fostered a welcoming environment wherever he went.

He was predeceased by his parents, Jackson E. Sturm and Nona Maxine Sturm.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Dolores ("Jo") Sturm; his son, Scott T. Sturm and wife Jean; three grandchildren, Danette, Michael, and Taylor (with her husband Andrei); eight great-grandchildren, Kendall, Nikole, Christian, Noah, Levi, Jackson, Austin, and Hunter; as well as many cherished friends and extended family members.

A celebration of life will be held on October 3, 2025, at 11:00 am at Grace Lutheran Church located at 1000 W. Wilson Street in Banning, CA 92220.
