Jackson Tedrow Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Snyder Funeral Home, Bellville Butler Chapel on Oct. 2, 2025.
Jackson James Tedrow, 22 of Perrysville passed away Wednesday, September 24, 2025. Jackson lived a life full of energy, kindness, and generosity, always ready to lend a hand, share a laugh, or create a memory with those he loved most.
Jackson James Tedrow was born on June 10, 2003, to the late James "Toad" Tedrow and Angela (Bebout) Tedrow. From the start, Jackson lived life with energy, humor, and a big heart. He grew up in 4-H and FFA, working on all kinds of projects and proudly showing his hogs at the Richland County Fair and Bellville Street Fair. After graduating from Clear Fork High School alongside Knox County Career Center, where he studied mechanics, he turned his love of fixing things into a career. He worked as a mechanic at Valley ATV, where his coworkers fondly called him "Leroy." He was always tinkering with something, always collecting more Milwaukee tools, and was especially proud of his brand-new Polaris 850. If something was broken, Jackson was the guy you called-he never hesitated to roll up his sleeves to help.
Jackson had a gentle, quiet demeanor and found his greatest joy in the outdoors. He especially cherished time spent hunting deer and turkey or casting a line for bass at Pleasant Hill Lake and nearby ponds alongside his brother, Cooper, and their close friends. Many happy memories were made around a campfire, out boating, camping, or just spending time with the people he cared about. He lived for good times-whether it was pool parties, bonfires, or watching UFC fights with the guys. He was also known to bust out some hilarious dance moves, sing along to just about any song, and keep everyone laughing. Adventures big and small filled his life, from riding ATVs out west to cruising to Alaska with his grandmother and family.
He shared many special moments with his girlfriend, Lexi, whether it was relaxing together or jumping into the fun with family and friends. At home, he loved his pets-his dog, Waylan, and his cat, Chevy-who were never far from his side. Gentle and kind, he had a soft spot for babies, especially his niece Isabel, whom he cuddled with every day.
More than anything, Jackson was about family. Cooper, just 16 months younger, wasn't just his brother, but his best friend and sidekick in everything. To his mom, he was a rock-kind, loving, and always ready to lend a hand or share a laugh.
Jackson's life reflected the spirit of Matthew 4:19: "Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men" with a heart that drew others in, he brought people together, filled their lives with laughter, and left an unforgettable mark on all who were blessed to know him.
Jackson will be deeply missed and treasured by his mother Angela Palmer, brother Cooper, Maya and Isabel, grand parents Linda Tedrow, Suzanne and Rob Sorquist, William "Bill" Bebout, Joann Palmer and Gus Palmer; aunts and uncles Greg and Linda Tedrow and family, Elizabeth Speckert and Dustin McMillan and daughters, Layne and Lauren, Jennifer and Heath Bowman and Family, Christie and Carols Vidaurri and Family, Jonathan and Caiti Bebout and Family, Bill and Tina Palmer and Family along with many extended family and friends.
Preceded in death by his father James "Toad" Tedrow when he was 9, step-father with whom he formed a strong connection Scott Palmer, and grandfather John Tedrow.
Friends may join the family for calling hours Thursday, October 9, 2025 from 3 pm to 7 pm in Storyside Church Bellville where the memorial service for Jackson will be held Friday at 11 am. Interment will follow in Bunkerhill Cemetery.
