Sharon "Ann" Tedrow, age 77, of
Groveport, Ohio, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2025 surrounded by her husband and children. She was born on June 18, 1947 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Bernard and Alberta Shrivers. Ann is survived by her husband, Roger D. Tedrow; their two children, Gina (Mike) Kaetzel of Thornville, Ohio and Craig (Stacy) Tedrow of Lithopolis, Ohio; three grandchildren, Kyle (Madeline) Bishop, Rochelle Tedrow, and Zane Kaetzel along with one step-granddaughter, Kristy (Lance) Van Vorhis and two great-grandchildren, Harper and Mason Bishop. Ann was the third child of five and is survived by her brother, Bernard (Patricia) Shrivers and her sister, Cynthia "Sue" (Joe) Wilson along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Joyce (Robert) Bartimus and brother, Jon "Randy" Shrivers.
Ann was a graduate of Malta-McConnelsville High School in McConnelsville, Ohio and Bliss College in Columbus, Ohio with a Secretarial Certificate. Ann moved to Columbus, Ohio at the age of 17 and attended Bliss College before starting her career at Western Electric where she ultimately met Roger Tedrow after joining the Western Electric "Webell Choir". Ann married the love of her life, Roger Tedrow on May 6, 1967 and spent the next 58 years raising their family in the Columbus/Groveport area.
The family enjoyed many years of camping, soccer games, basketball games, teaching youth ministries, singing and family gatherings down on the Shrivers' family farm in Malta, Ohio and visits to Dale and Dorothy Tedrow (in-laws) with boat rides on Buckeye Lake.
Ann and Roger attended Madison Christian Church and formed a band by the name of "Branches of the Vine". They sang at area churches, nursing homes, and festivals around the State playing various musical instruments; hammer dulcimer, dulcimer, autoharp, and her dancing wooden animals. Ann and Roger sang many duets together and sang in the church choir.
Ann had a passion for spreading God's word to whoever would listen and had a "knack" for seeking out those who needed a shoulder to cry on or just needed a hug. She passed out hundreds of copies of the book "Psalm 91 God's Umbrella of Protection" (Peggy Joyce Smith) in grocery store parking lots, restaurants and wherever God led her to witness. She organized and taught several women's Bible Studies on several topics; Psalms 91, Hebrew Names of God, and the Women of the Bible, to name a few.
Ann's sweet smile, beautiful voice, and gentle hugs will be dearly missed.
We wish to thank the staff, nurses, nurses aides and hospice for all of their kindness and care over the last 4.5 years at Altercare, Thornville.
