Nancy E. Prindle

Nancy Elizabeth Prindle (Nichols), age 87, of Columbus, OH, passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, March 4, 2026. Nancy was born on October 14, 1938, in Jackson, OH to Cyrus and Mary Nichols. She grew up helping her parents on their family farm along with her 10 siblings. After her graduation from Jackson High School, she moved to Columbus to start a job at the Bureau of Motor Vehicles. After her marriage she became a stay at home mom. She raised her children, and then went on to help her eldest daughter's children, babysitting them while their mother was at work. Nancy was known for her kindness and the love of her children. She was also known for her sense of humor and the love of a good garage or church rummage sale.

Nancy is survived by her two children, Diana (Ron White) Patterson of Groveport, and Scott Prindle of Columbus; grandchildren, Lori (Todd) Ashcraft of Groveport, Chris (Debbie) Slatzer of Reese; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Nancy is preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence; daughter, Cynthia; siblings, Donna Jean, Mary Margaret, Marcella, Betty, Mary Evelyn, Dale, Herman, Cliff, Floyd, and Bill.

Nancy will be laid to rest following a graveside committal service on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 12:30 p.m. at the Obetz Cemetery, 4455 Groveport Rd. in Obetz, OH 43207. Final arrangements entrusted to the MYERS-WOODYARD FUNERAL HOME in Groveport, OH.
