Timothy Joseph Prindle, 48, of Delaware passed away peacefully early Sunday morning, February 8, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family.

He was born July 27, 1977, in Delaware, Ohio to Dr. Dennis Joseph Prindle and Dr. Alison (Householder) Prindle and later graduated from Ohio Wesleyan University with a degree in geography and history. On July 11, 1998, he married the love of his life Heather Tilford. Together they shared almost 28 years of marriage.

Tim worked as an adjunct professor in history at Ohio Wesleyan University and Otterbein University. He had a deep passion for music and played in several bands over the years. He was the former manager of Crossroads Music in Delaware. He loved nature and especially enjoyed camping and kayaking. His real heart was at Sleeping Bear Dunes located in Northern Michigan.

Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Heather; sons, Colin and Liam Prindle; parents, Dennis and Alison Prindle of Delaware; sister, Sarah (Jon) Mabee of Springfield, Missouri; in-laws, Rick and Kathryn Tilford of Marengo; brothers-in-law, Josh Tilford, Mark (Debby) Tilford, Nate (Rochelle) Tilford, and Chris (Hannah) Krouse; nieces and nephew, Lucinda Mabee , Raven Tilford, Leah and Caleb Tilford, Ava, Matteson and Zoe Krouse

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
