Jaclyn M. Jermine

Jaclyn M. Jermine, 40, of Milford, passed away peacefully on January 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends. Born on July 4, 1985, to the late David and Lynne (Murray) Jermine, Jackie was a 2003 graduate of North Haven High School and later attended Salve Regina University. While there, she fell in love with Newport, Rhode Island-a place she carried in her heart throughout her life.

She earned her Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Connecticut and spent her career as an internal medicine hospitalist, first at St. Raphael's and later at Yale New Haven Hospital. Jackie was a gifted caregiver who poured her compassion and kindness into every person she encountered, but her light extended far beyond the walls of the hospital.

Jackie had a rare gift for building and sustaining lifelong friendships. She possessed a quiet strength and steadiness that allowed her to move effortlessly between being a mischievous partner in crime and a deeply reliable source of comfort. Her calm presence steadied countless hands through life's most difficult moments.

She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Matthew (Meredith) Jermine; her beloved nieces, Kaitlyn and Claire; her aunts and uncles; cousins; her many friends who were like family; and her cherished puppy, Pippa. Jackie loved traveling and being near the water. She lit up when speaking of her two nieces and the many children who proudly called her Auntie Jackie. Her legacy of strength, perseverance, and empathy will be carried forward by all who had the privilege of knowing and loving her.

The visiting hours will be Saturday, January 24, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at The Havens Family North Haven Funeral Home, 36 Washington Avenue. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Elizabeth of the Trinity Parish at St. Barnabas Church, 44 Washington Avenue, North Haven on Saturday afternoon at 12:30. Family and friends will be invited to a post-funeral reception. Interment will be private and at the convenience of the family in the All Saints Cemetery.
